Racy Rabbox:

My work focuses on the creation of chimeric and anthropomorphized forms that reflect our multifaceted relationship with nature. Tripod racer, Ratini and Racy Rabbox, combine diverse hybrid elements to reference the contradictory ways in which we treat animals –in medical research, biotechnology, in racing, in hunting, in domesticity etc. The sweet yet somewhat sad faces of the animals implies their sentience whilst the soft colours and child-like fairytale guise of these works enhances the grim impact of man’s perplexing duplicity.
